Big Bag Theory

My mom recently bought this leather tote from Banana Republic and has been raving about it, and believe me, she's a pretty picky shopper. It's large, but lightweight, and perfect for stashing weekend getaway necessities -- an umbrella, reading material, knitting, and granola bars. She opted for the indigo version, but I'm more of a cognac girl myself.

  2. Thank You for the lovely comment! And I love the fact that you live in Seattle! I'm from Seattle but moved to a small town about 100 miles away to go to school... It's nice to know that you're all about spreading some southern hospitality =)

  3. very cute! although when I carry a large bag I find that I someone fill it with all this crap I don't need... I haven't been carrying a bag for the last couple months!

  4. Huge but gorgeous! My boyfriend always ask me what's inside my huge bag. He'll tease 'some kind of tools maybe?' haha.

  5. I love this bag! Such a step up from the canvas ones I drag around. The key is- do not overload it or it will need wheels to pull it along. Thanks for sharing it!

  8. Love the cognac. Thank you so much for the comment on my 100 things post. I have so many in the last year, that I wanted mine to be intriguing. It was hard at first, but now in restrospect I could easily write 100 more, just as cliff hanging. I will expand in the future on the ones that I had interest in. et..My Daddy in Vietnam and The Gypsy story.
Sending southern sunshine, sweet tea, and lots of sass your way!

  16. Mama was always the cognac one. But, for the second 50 years of my life I am getting out of the box (or bag) in this case. Go Indigo!

  18. Like Liz said - there are upsides and downsides to a big purse. I have WAY too much crap floating around in mine and I have to dig forever to find what I need.
    But it's such a cute bag... ;)
